QuranHeavens began as a small tutoring circle for a handful of families abroad. Today it's a full academy — but the reason we started hasn't changed.
A home-video call, one child, and one worried parent — that's where QuranHeavens began
A few years ago, one of our founders was living abroad and noticed something quietly slipping away: their own children were growing up fluent in everything except the Quran. Local classes weren't an option, and the recorded lessons online felt cold and impersonal.
So the family found a qualified, Ijazah-certified tutor back home and started weekly Zoom classes — just for their own kids. Word spread among other expat families facing the same worry, and within a year, that one tutor became a small circle of teachers serving families across four countries.
That's still the standard every class is held to today: would we be comfortable putting our own child in this class? If the answer isn't yes, it doesn't go on the schedule.
